Welcome
Keepers of the Circle, Inc. - Native American Education and Cultural Center - is a registered 501c3 located in Rotterdam Junction, NY.  Our organization began over 20 years ago in Albany, NY.  Our mission was, and still is, as follows:

  • To preserve and promote an appreciation and understanding of Native American culture, and its various cultures, to Native and Non-Native people throughout the Region.
  • To further establish a drug and alcohol free meeting place for Native people to learn about and to maintain our cultural traditions, language, and Way of Life.
  • To increase awareness of Native American/Indigenous people and related issues of historical struggle, perseverance, and contemporary living.

Keepers of the Circle, Inc. has not, does not, nor will not offer courses in "shamanistic" or "paranormal" studies.  Our events, courses, workshops are those that support our mission while keeping the next 7 generations, always, at the fore front of our actions.  Our Center is run solely from membership contributions and local supporters.

Our website is always changing to reflect the events, and growth of the Center.  The Center's phone number is (518)887-2590.  Our email is: info@keepersofthecircle.org.  We are open 6 days a week, but always call to confirm that we are open.  Come and visit our museum (current exhibit is in transition as we prepare for our new exhibit ) shop in our gift shop, or pick up food from our county authorized food pantry. Thank you for your patience, support, and keep checking back to see our finished website!
