Keepers' was recognized for our volunteering contributions Saturday, September 24, 2011 by the Moose Lodge #251 along with MANY good people and organizations that demonstrated their care, concern, and compassion for our fellow neighbors, some of whom we had never met until Hurricane Irene. Members of Keepers did not hesitate to activate whatever support services would aid and assist our Community. We are not a million dollar society, corporation, or "non-profit" with ulterior motives. We simply care about our neighbors because that is a Native way. Thank you very much Moose Lodge #251 for recognizing the many people who have and continue to offer assistance in the recovery of Hurricane Irene.
